Winter indulgence

19.11.2018

What is the point of winter indulgence? A different take on oposites. Enjoying the cold, but coming back into the warmth, observing the ice from a warm place, resigning yourself to a form of a lulling serenity. Winter is both excitement and dejection at the same time. It is heavy and tasty, enchanting and layered, in all senses of that word. It brings up memories of holiday feasts, with a myriad of its specialties slowly dwindling on the table. Same goes for winter drinks, hot and more aromatic than in the summer. They are encriched by a whole range of spices of the familiar. Winter, therefore,is a season to be enjoyed with all senses, sight, smell and taste.
